Gordon Albury      

Tenor II   (2010)

 

Gordon was born in Miami, FL one year before the Great Depression. As the grandson of Bahamian and Canadian stock, he sang his way through Miami High, then served two plus years with Uncle Sam in Korea. He then pursued architecture at Georgia Tech and spent a year in Stuttgart, Germany. He has worked in New York City, Coral Gables, Harvard University and 15 years at the Las Alamos National Laboratory. Gordon performed in musical theaters, where he played leading roles in the "King and I" and "Caberet." He met his wife Jayn at a stage rehearsal and has been married 27 years. They have raised 3 children together, but lost their son Jeff to a drowning accident in 2003. Gordon sings for Jeff.
